Best aspects of my xmas stay were the extremely friendly and helpful owner who went the extra mile to make sure I had a great experience and the convenient location close to the airport. The owner, Axel, was such a gem - always friendly, helpful, and easygoing. He even took me on a night ride around the city in his vintage car, which was an amazing experience. Another great perk was the free breakfast and coffee in the little eatery downstairs. The staff there, especially the lovely ladies, made me feel cared for, just like my own mom would. It was the perfect start to my day.

I traveled to Guatemala City for a short stay and chose to stay at Kaena Point. The hostel is located in a safe area and I had no worries exploring the city using Uber. There are convenient tiendas nearby where I could grab snacks and water. The staff was incredibly friendly, and I even received a worry doll present upon arrival. They even upgraded my room to a bigger one with its own toilet. I appreciated the affordable breakfast options and the owner, Axel, took great care of me. The hostel also offers free airport pick-up for a minimum of 2 people, which was a great perk. my stay was enjoyable and I highly recommend this place!

As longer-term business travelers, we loved the comfy beds and stylish, clean facilities. the friendly owner gave us all the information we needed and even had a great chat with us. the free shuttle service to the airport was a big help for our late/early flights. We also enjoyed the traditional Guatemalan breakfast. Highly recommended!

Felt like a home away from home, nothing to complain about.

Had a great night at Kaena Point's bar, thanks to the friendly bartender. The private room was comfy, with a hot shower. Quick and helpful check-in with a lovely lady who arranged an early morning Uber to the airport. Convenient location in Zona 11, with nearby tiendas and the option for a cheap breakfast. Enjoyed the balcony view and the eco-friendly features.

The owner of the hostel was amazing! He was so friendly and helpful, even offering to call me an Uber when I arrived. The location was perfect as well, close to a bus station and in a safe neighborhood with plenty of food and shopping options nearby. I also loved that the building and facilities were new and well-maintained, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable.

There were a few things that I didn't like about the hostel. One strange policy was that you couldn't stay in the common areas before check-in time, which I found to be quite inconvenient.
